Bart Van Assche obtained a Ph.D. in distributed computing. He works for Western Digital on improving support for their products in the Linux kernel. Bart is the maintainer of the SRP initiator driver in the Linux kernel and is an active contributor to the Linux block layer, the Linux kernel SCSI initiator core and the Linux SCSI target core.
